Following on from Russian Girls’ ‘Digua’ EP,
released in October on hfn music, here is a brand new remix for one of the EP’s keytracks: Por Que Rock.
The original is a signature low slung, off kilter jam, something the Russian Girls have been pulling off since their first release on Sisters & Brothers.
Now the mode_alone remix adds a stompier beat and lots of drama and urgency, turning the piece into a fierce and irresistible elektro track.
mode_alone is Bryan Mette, one half of NYC’s superduo Whatever/Whatever who were
already featured on Sisters & Brothers’ First Gathering
